Dionysia

The way the light catches her

in her pale blue dress —

She's used to dancing alone.

Born of such violence,

her soul forged from the stars,

she never stopped to ask why.

One day the sun will eat you,

but I know

your dance will continue.

Even as inferno consumes

your heart of gold and iron,

it will never cease its sinful beat;

The drum of war and peace,

echoing forever in

halls of eternal silence,

in line with the smiles

of a hundred billion lives,

you are art.

supernova, again and again,

never stopping to ask —

I hear your footfall on the road to infinity.

I love you.

So delicate

so small,

little lady

spinning so,

do you care that we listen intently?

The speed of light

rings you like a bell.

God, were we to feel you.
